Introduction
You can view the parent accounts overview by defining one or more of the following criteria. For more information on parent accounts, see Creating and Modifying Accounts.

Roles & rights
All users can search for parent accounts.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Button
Show
Click this to display the overview based on the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Refresh
Click this to update the overview based on the last defined criteria.
Reset
Click this to clear the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Close
Click this to exit.
Description
Criteria section
Group
Select the group division of the parent account to be displayed. For more information on group divisions, see Overview of Groups. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts from any group.
Continent
Select the continent of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts from any continent. For more information on continents, see Overview of Continents/Regions.
Country
Type or select the country of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts from any country. For more information on countries, see Overview or Countries.
Parent account
Type or select the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for all the parent accounts. For more information on parent accounts, see Creating and Modifying Accounts.
Rating
Select the rating range of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the boxes blank to search for parent accounts with any rating.
Note: Typing or selecting only the start of a rating range will display results for parent accounts that are rated on and after it. Typing or selecting only the end of a rating range will display results for parent accounts that are rated on and before it.
Level
Select the level of reports to be displayed for the parent account. For example, if “2” is selected, two levels of reports will be displayed for the account such as the parent and child report.
Division
Type or select the division of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts from any division. For more information on divisions, see Overview of Divisions.
Region
Select the region of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts from any region. For more information, see Overview of Continents/Regions.
Postcode
Type the postcode of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts with any postcode.
Account manager
Type or select the manager who is in charged of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts with any manager.
Classification
Type or select the classification of the parent account to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to search for parent accounts of any classification. For more information on classifications, see Overview of Classifications.
Inactive
Select this check box to display parent accounts that are inactive.
Customize
Click at the title bar to customize the fields or sections. You can add or remove existing criteria based on your preferences by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes. Click Save to save the settings, Default to reset your selections to the default setting, or Close to exit without saving. Take note of the following fields/sections/columns:
Columns section
You can add or remove columns based on the information you want to view. The order of the columns can be arranged by clicking the Up or Down buttons. There are various columns that can be selected such as Debtor code, Division, and many more.
